Catalogue publishing makes your product catalogue accessible to customers through a unique public URL. Once published, customers can browse your products, view prices, and interact with your catalogue online.
Pre-Publishing Checklist
Before publishing your catalogue, ensure:
- All catalogue settings are configured correctly
- Items are selected and properly organized
- Pricing information is accurate
- Product images are uploaded and displayed correctly
- Business information is complete
- SEO settings are configured
- Catalogue is set to "Active" status
Activating Your Catalogue
To make your catalogue live:
- Open your catalogue for editing
- Ensure all settings are configured
- Check the Is Active checkbox
- Save the catalogue
- Your catalogue is now published and accessible
Catalogue URL Structure
Your published catalogue will have a unique URL:
- Format: https://yoursite.com/c/[your-unique-slug]
- Example: https://yoursite.com/c/summer-collection-2024
- Slug: The unique identifier you created for the catalogue
Validity Period
Set when your catalogue is available:
- Valid From: Start date for catalogue availability
- Valid To: End date for catalogue availability
- Never Expires: Keep catalogue active indefinitely
- Automatic Publishing: Catalogue becomes active on "Valid From" date
- Automatic Expiry: Catalogue becomes inactive after "Valid To" date
Testing Your Published Catalogue
Before sharing, test your catalogue:
- Copy the catalogue URL
- Open in a new browser window (or incognito mode)
- Verify all items are displayed correctly
- Check that prices and images load properly
- Test search and filter functionality
- Verify interactive features (WhatsApp, Add to Cart)
- Test on mobile devices
- Check loading speed and performance
Password Protection
If your catalogue is password-protected:
- Password Required: Customers need password to access
- Setting Password: Configure password in catalogue settings
- Sharing Password: Share password with authorized customers
- Password Security: Use strong, unique passwords
Sharing Your Catalogue
Once published, share your catalogue:
- Direct Link: Share the catalogue URL directly
- Email: Send link via email to customers
- Social Media: Share on social media platforms
- Website: Add link to your website
- QR Code: Generate and share QR code (if available)
- WhatsApp: Share link via WhatsApp
Embedding Catalogue
To embed catalogue on your website:
- Direct Link: Add link button to your website
- Iframe Embed: Embed catalogue in iframe (if supported)
- Widget: Use catalogue widget (if available)
Updating Published Catalogue
To update an already published catalogue:
- Edit the catalogue
- Make your changes (items, settings, etc.)
- Save the changes
- Changes are reflected immediately on the published catalogue
- No need to republish - updates are live automatically
Unpublishing Catalogue
To temporarily hide your catalogue:
- Open the catalogue for editing
- Uncheck Is Active
- Save the catalogue
- Catalogue is now inaccessible but not deleted
- You can reactivate it anytime
Deleting Catalogue
To permanently remove a catalogue:
- Open the catalogue
- Click Delete or Remove
- Confirm deletion
- Catalogue is permanently removed
- URL will no longer work
Multiple Catalogues
You can publish multiple catalogues:
- Different Products: Create separate catalogues for different product lines
- Different Seasons: Seasonal catalogues (Summer, Winter, etc.)
- Different Customers: Customer-specific catalogues
- Different Branches: Branch-specific catalogues
- Each has Unique URL: Each catalogue has its own unique slug and URL
Analytics and Tracking
Monitor your published catalogue:
- Google Analytics: Track visits if Analytics ID is configured
- View Counts: Monitor how many times catalogue is viewed
- Customer Interactions: Track enquiries and cart additions
- Performance Metrics: Analyze catalogue performance
