Email Verification Process
Email verification is an important security step to ensure that you have access to the email address associated with your EquiBillBook account. This process helps protect your account and ensures you receive important notifications.
Why Email Verification is Required

How to Verify Your Email
Step 1: Check Your Email Inbox
After creating your account, you should receive a verification email from EquiBillBook. This email is typically sent immediately after registration.
Step 2: Locate the Verification Email
- Check your inbox for an email from EquiBillBook
- Subject line typically reads: "Verify Your EquiBillBook Account" or "Email Verification Required"
- If you don't see it, check your Spam or Junk folder
Step 3: Click the Verification Link
The email contains a verification link. Simply click on this link to verify your email address.
- The link will redirect you to the EquiBillBook website
- Your email will be verified automatically
- You'll see a confirmation message
Step 4: Log In
Once your email is verified, you can log in to your EquiBillBook account using your email and password.
If You Didn't Receive the Verification Email
Check Spam/Junk Folder
Email filters sometimes redirect verification emails to spam. Check your spam or junk folder carefully.
Resend Verification Email
If you didn't receive the email, you can request a new verification email:
- Go to the login page
- Click on "Resend Verification Email" or "Verify Email" link
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for the new email
Check Email Address
Ensure that you entered the correct email address during registration. If you made a typo, you may need to create a new account with the correct email.
Wait a Few Minutes
Sometimes emails can take a few minutes to arrive. Wait 5-10 minutes and check again.
Email Verification Expiration
Verification links typically expire after a certain period (usually 24-48 hours) for security reasons. If your link has expired:
- Request a new verification email
- Use the "Resend Verification Email" option
- Complete the verification process with the new link
After Verification
Once your email is verified, you can:
- Log in to your account
- Complete your organization profile setup
- Start using all features of EquiBillBook
- Receive important notifications and updates
Changing Your Email Address
If you need to change your email address after verification:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Settings → User Settings → Profile
- Update your email address
- Verify the new email address using the same process
