Viewing Customer Transactions

Customer transactions provide a complete history of all financial activities with your customers in EquiBillBook. This guide will help you understand how to view and analyze customer transaction history, including invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments.

What are Customer Transactions?

Customer transactions include all financial interactions with customers, such as:

  • Sales invoices and credit notes
  • Customer payments and receipts
  • Advance payments and deposits
  • Returns and refunds
  • Adjustments and write-offs
  • Journal entries affecting customer accounts

Accessing Customer Transactions

To view customer transactions:

  1. Navigate to the Customers module from the main menu
  2. Click on "Customer List" or "Customers"
  3. Select a customer from the list
  4. Click on "View Transactions", "Transaction History", or "Ledger"

Alternatively, you can access customer transactions from:

  • ReportsReceivables ReportsCustomer Ledger
  • AccountsAccount Transactions (filter by customer)

Understanding the Transaction View

The customer transaction view displays:

  • Transaction Date: Date when the transaction occurred
