Brand Management
Brand Management in EquiBillBook allows you to organize and track items by their brands or manufacturers. This guide will help you understand how to create and manage brands to maintain better inventory organization and reporting.
Accessing Brand Management
To manage brands:
- Navigate to Settings → Item Settings
- Look for Brand Management or Brands
- Or go to Items → Brand Master
- Create, edit, or manage brands as needed
Enabling Brand Management
Before creating brands, enable brand functionality:
- Go to Item Settings
- Check "Enable Brands" option
- Save the settings
- Brand field will now appear in item forms

Creating Brands
Creating a New Brand

Assigning Brands to Items
When creating or editing items:
- Select brand from dropdown list
- Brand field appears if brands are enabled
- Optional field - items can exist without brands

- One item can have one brand
Editing Brands
To edit existing brands:
- Go to Brand Master
- Select the brand to edit
- Click "Edit"
- Modify name, code, description, or logo

- Note: Changes affect all items with that brand
Deleting Brands
To delete brands:
- Ensure no items are assigned to the brand
