Payment Methods Setup
Payment methods setup in EquiBillBook allows you to configure which payment methods customers can use to make payments. This guide explains how to set up and manage payment methods effectively.
What are Payment Methods?
Payment methods are the various ways customers can pay for invoices, bookings, or purchases. EquiBillBook supports multiple payment methods including credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, digital wallets, and bank transfers. You can enable or disable specific payment methods based on your business needs.
Accessing Payment Methods Setup
To access payment methods setup:
- Navigate to Settings → Online Payment Settings → Payment Methods Setup
- View available payment methods
- Enable or disable payment methods
- Configure method-specific settings
Credit Card Payments
Configure credit card payments:
- Enable Credit Cards: Turn on credit card payments
- Supported Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, RuPay, Discover
- Card Verification: Enable CVV and address verification
- 3D Secure: Enable 3D Secure authentication
- Card Storage: Allow customers to save cards (if supported)
- International Cards: Accept international credit cards
Debit Card Payments
Configure debit card payments:
- Enable Debit Cards: Turn on debit card payments
- Supported Cards: Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, RuPay Debit
- Card Verification: Enable CVV verification
- PIN Verification: Require PIN for debit card payments
- Domestic Cards: Accept domestic debit cards
UPI Payments
Configure UPI (Unified Payments Interface) payments:
- Enable UPI: Turn on UPI payments
- UPI Apps: Support popular UPI apps (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, etc.)
- UPI ID: Configure UPI merchant ID
- QR Code: Generate UPI QR codes for payments
- UPI Intent: Support UPI intent URLs
Net Banking
Configure net banking payments:
- Enable Net Banking: Turn on net banking option
- Supported Banks: Select banks to support
- Bank List: Display list of supported banks
- Bank Logos: Show bank logos for easy selection
- Instant Transfer: Support instant bank transfers (if available)
Digital Wallets
Configure digital wallet payments:
- Enable Wallets: Turn on wallet payments
- Supported Wallets: Paytm, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, etc.
- Wallet Selection: Allow customers to choose wallet
- Wallet Balance: Check wallet balance (if supported)
- Wallet Top-up: Support wallet top-up payments
Bank Transfer
Configure bank transfer payments:
- Enable Bank Transfer: Turn on bank transfer option
- Bank Details: Display bank account details
- Manual Verification: Manually verify bank transfers
- Transfer Instructions: Provide transfer instructions to customers
- Reference Number: Require reference number for verification
EMI (Equated Monthly Installments)
Configure EMI payment options:
- Enable EMI: Turn on EMI payment option
- EMI Tenure: Configure available EMI tenures (3, 6, 9, 12 months)
- Minimum Amount: Set minimum amount for EMI
- Interest Rates: Configure EMI interest rates
- EMI Partners: Select EMI partner banks/NBFCs
Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
Configure BNPL payment options:
- Enable BNPL: Turn on BNPL option
- BNPL Providers: Integrate BNPL providers
- Credit Limits: Configure credit limits
- Repayment Terms: Set repayment terms
- Eligibility Check: Check customer eligibility
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Configure cash on delivery (if applicable):
- Enable COD: Turn on cash on delivery option
